On the morning of day 3

These quite nice looking clouds were the remainder of a storm that passed over us during the night. Gale winds forced us to dismantle the tent at 2:45 in the morning: we feared the gusts would destroy it and we spent the rest of the cold(!) night in the car. Despite the Landrover being a heavy vehicle the wind shook it from one side to the other. We met three other vehicles on day 3 and the guys said the track is good until Purnie Bore but might be a bit sticky or boggy to Dalhousie and Mt. Dare Hotel. After having successfully crossed all the lakes we thought we should be fine ;-) The wind was still strong and all clouds gone within an hour.
