On the barge to Fraser Island Inskip Point

Compared to Moreton Island, where we were on foot, at a place we've never been before, trying to find the spot from where the ferry leaves, it was much easier to be on the barge, in the car figuring out where the "road" is on the other side - everywhere (see picture below). Fraser Island is inscribed as a World Heritage site since 1992. The island is considered to be the largest sand island in the world at 1840 km². Fraser Island has over 100 dune lakes, as well as the second highest concentration of lakes in Australia after Tasmania. The freshwater lakes on Fraser Island are some of the cleanest lakes in the world.
